Limmud International

Limmud was founded in the UK in 1980 as a small conference for educators and their families.  By 1996 the annual Limmud Conference had become the largest Jewish educational event in Europe, and now over 7,000 people attend Limmud UK events each year.  Inspired by the Limmud Conference, volunteers established the first overseas group in 1998, eventually spawning events in six continents around the globe!

The Limmud International family continues to grow at an unprecedented pace, with new communities joining each year!
